Medical Software and Device Company Leader Dr. Peter Killcommons

Dr. Peter Killcommons established Medweb, a San Francisco-based medical software and device company, in 1992. As CEO of Medweb, he is responsible for the oversight of all company operations, including the radiology, telemedicine, and disaster response divisions. While running Medweb, Dr. Peter Killcommons has invented web-based radiology viewers and secured a Pacific Bell grant to link California medical facilities.

Dr. Pete Killcommons has held several additional roles while leading Medweb, including positions on the American Telemedicine Association board of directors and the International Virtual Electronic Hospital board of directors. He supports numerous philanthropic organizations, including Laughs for the Troops and Wounded Warrior Project.

A cum laude pre-med graduate of the City College of New York, Dr. Pete Killcommons completed his medical education at New York Medical College in Valhalla. He remains involved with the American Telemedicine Association and the International Virtual Electronic Hospital Foundation, as well as the American Medical Association. In his free time, he enjoys staying active through aviation, sailing, and scuba diving.
